Functional Respiratory Gymnastics
The respiratory gymnastics programme is tailored to take account of a patient's specific symptoms.
Respiratory therapy is used:
to improve pulmonary function;
to treat obstructive and restrictive pulmonary disorders, vegetative dysfunction and thoracic traumas; and
in all therapeutic areas.
The techniques aim to avoid pneumonia, improve thoracic mobility and vital capacity, loosen and transport mucus, establish the normal tone of skin, connective tissue and muscles, and make it easier for the patient to breath and relax.
